For those regular readers of my blogs, you know how much I am into the Law of Attraction and how our thoughts create our reality. The fact that we are all creators by what we think about most often. I read a lot of Napoleon Hill and Earl Nightingale who understood the power of our thoughts long before science caught up to it. I read an interesting article about how our brain actually has a reset button. It is amazing that all of these early pioneers of success like Hill and Nightingale are having their theories proven by brain science. Yes it has a delete negative thoughts system. I absolutely love this stuff!
There are still a lot of folks that do not believe in the law of attraction and that’s okay. It still works either for you or against you. The same way the law of gravity works. If you don’t believe in the law of gravity and step off of a tall building you will learn within seconds gravity works, it is the law. The law of attraction works by your thoughts. If you think bad thoughts, you attract bad outcomes. If you think good thoughts you attract good outcomes. We all know people who have awful situations that happen to them day after day because they are so negative. Yet if you ask them, they will tell you they are positive people. They can’t even see what they are creating. We also know folks that can fall into a pile of dung and come out smelling like a bouquet of roses. It is not luck, it is the law of attraction.
The article talks about our thoughts which are neuro-pathways created by our habits of thinking. Negative thoughts can be deleted by weakening thinking about them and creating more positives thoughts. The process is known as “synaptic pruning”. In other words, throwing out or recycling bad thoughts for good thoughts the same way we throw out garbage and bring in new groceries to our home. The absolute best way to delete bad thoughts is to learn new things. We have all had learning situations where we fill our brain and it is full for the day. But when we sleep the “Glial cells” begin to delete weaker neuro-pathways to make room for the new learning. Even a short “cat nap” gives our brain time to relax and make room for newer and better information, thus deleting our negative thoughts. Too many people get into habits of not learning new things or learning the wrong things which creates this horrible cycle of bad event after bad event. When all they have to do is learn something new and positive.
Find a new positive book to read, watch inspirational videos or have a good talk to a positive friend or mentor. Before long your thoughts will change and instantly so will your life. Be positive not matter what!
“Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality.”—Earl Nightingale
